Gifts Your Child’s Teacher Will LOVE

I’ve written posts before about gifts for teachers and the main idea is that we really don’t need more “stuff.” Gift cards are ALWAYS a win and so are flowers/plants, school supplies, and sincere thank you notes. If you’re scrounging for something for your child’s teacher, you can’t go wrong with any of those things. BUT, if you’re like me, you really want to give them something special – something more personal – without cluttering their life/classroom even more (or spending a million dollars – which is, obviously – what they deserve).

Here are five gifts I’d be absolutely THRILLED to receive (actually, come to think of it, I’d be thrilled to receive anything as an end-of-the-year teacher gift… But that’s neither here nor there 😉 #highschoolteachersareforgotten) :

1. Twig & Arrow Pineapple Tote from Target (on sale for $15.99 – hurry!) – I’d fill this with fun magazines or a great summer read! (This tote would be awesome for the right person too!)

2. Alex and Ani ‘Apple of Abundance’ Bangle ($28) – Notice the little note that comes on the tag about the significance of the apple. It is perfect!

3. Teach Tee ($30) –  I’d rock this proudly every Friday with jeans and a cardigan. #teacheruniform

4. Is It Lunchtime Yet? Tote ($9.99) – Maybe it’s just me because I really need a new lunch bag, but I think this is great! (I also adore this one from JCrew Factory.)

5. Ideas in Bloom Desk Organizer ($14.99) – Adorable paired with a pack of colored pens.

So, what do you think? What’s your favorite? Any other ideas?!

Shhh… Sam’s preschool teacher is getting #2 from us this year. Any woman that can manage 12 four year olds every day – let alone actually teach them their letters, numbers, and how to sit at a table quietly – deserves some golden apple bling in my book!
