Good Saturday morning to you!

I’m committing to a productive (read: cleaning, laundry, and finally unpacking from our trip last weekend) morning, so that we can get out and enjoy this beautiful fall weekend later today and tomorrow. Our neighborhood has a big festival this afternoon and Sam’s school has one Sunday, so there is plenty of fun to be had. Also, we haven’t carved a pumpkin or been to a pumpkin patch yet this season. What are your weekend plans?

Side note: this happy girl was seven months old yesterday. I.cannot.believe.it. She’s sitting and eating like a pro, so close to crawling, and has the tiniest little front tooth coming in. All she wants to do is bounce, and I’m (still) pretty much obsessed with her.

ANYWAY, here are some more great finds from around the internet for you… Enjoy!

Links:

“Yummy Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread” + an adorable (free) printable of the ingredients from Emily at Jones Design Co. – I love the idea of giving these as gifts this holiday season in a cute loaf pan with the printed recipe card attached

“Lauren Graham, Mae Whitman Adapting ‘The Royal We’ Movie” – Woo hoo!!!

“15 Hilarious Parenting Comics that Are Almost Too Real”

“True Love” from The New York Times – about a dog and so sweet

“10 Things Our Kids Want Us to Stop Telling Others” in The Washington Post – this definitely made me think, especially #1, #3, and #10

“Sometimes the Best Parents Are the Ones with the Screaming Kids” on PopSugar – I’ve totally been on both sides

Plus, surely you’ve already heard that Kate Winslet won’t let her photos be retouched, Sesame Street has a new character with autism, and Gilmore Girls is coming back to Netflix (looks like I’ve got some major binge watching to do to get ready). It was a good week.

*And* this is an older post, but I just found it this week and thought it went along nicely with my post earlier this week – I Wish I Didn’t Want to Be a Teacher

I just ordered this new planner. #likeIneedaholeinmyhead (More to come on it once I’ve had a chance to try it out!)

These seem like the perfect bootie (if I was willing to spend $140).

I want this rug (or this one) from Ikea. (Probably a – slightly – more practical way to spend $140.)

Really love these shoes. (Would they be totally impractical?)

This sweater from J.Crew is perfect. (And how cool are these pants?)

I really like the look of a military vest this season – like this one.

Happy Weekend!
