It’s officially fall folks, and we are getting so close to you-actually-need-to-wear-a-sweater-and-boots-and-don’t-sweat-when-you-drink-hot-lattes weather. 😉 I can’t wait!

We had plans to go to a pumpkin patch birthday party today and the lake tomorrow, but the weather is going to be yucky all weekend, so I’m going to take advantage of an unexpected open schedule… What are your plans?

Here are a few (and by “a few” I actually mean “tons of” because there were so many good ones) links & likes from around the internet this past week to enjoy with your Saturday coffee…

FREE Fall printable (shown above) from Emily at Jones Design Co.

A NYTimes interview with Marie Kondo on the Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up with kids – because all of this tidying can be pretty darn stressful when you are navigating little bodies and millions of tiny toys

“7 Habits of a Hot Marriage in the Middle of Monotony” at We Are THAT Family – hilarious title, excellent content

“The One Conversation That Could Save Your Teen’s Life (and Your Own)” from Glennon on Momastery – Glennon always hits it out of the park, and this one was especially good. It made me think of my students and, of course, my own kids down the road. If you have teenagers, work with them, or will have them one day, READ THIS. (Originally posted in June 2014.)

“The Surprising Geography of American Left-Handedness” from The Washington Post – Did you know my Sam is a lefty? This fascinated me. (Also, should I send special lefty scissors in to school for him or is that too helicopterish? Seriously.)

“Is It Out of Style to Be Happy?” by Emily A. Clark – good thoughts about blogging and life

“Savannah Guthrie Opens Up about Faith and Its Role in Motherhood” – she’s the cutest!

“This Is How Real Working Mothers Are Managing: It’s Not as Complicated As You Think” by Laura Vanderkam for Verily – long, but thought-provoking

“‘Don’t Smile Till Christmas’: A Teacher’s Worst Advice” – couldn’t agree more

10 “HIP” Secrets for Saving at Starbucks – because who doesn’t want to save at Starbucks? (#5 might be live changing for all grading/study/writing sessions, but I hate when Jeff makes me do #9)

On that note… Have you tried the new Toasted Graham Latte? I’m intrigued.

I’m obsessed with this Double Hooded Sweatshirt from &ave. that Jones Design Company posted about this week. (Currently sold out, but available in several other colors!)

I want to get one of Tsh’s “Live Simply So Others Can Simply Live” tees. They look cozy, and all profits are going towards the refugee crisis.

Just ordered this tunic with some credit I had at ModCloth. I can’t wait to wear it with yellow cords this fall.

I’ve been wanting a leopard scarf for about five years now. This one is only $8 at Old Navy this weekend, so I’m going for it!

Speaking of sales this weekend, Loft has EVERYTHING marked 40% off. I’m definitely buying a pair of curvy-skinny jeans (thanks for the suggestions) and maybe this shirt, or this one, for work.

Adding this to my reading list. I need it.

These shoes are adorable – and affordable! #Ilikeleopardalittle

My sister gave my mom this sweater for her birthday, and I love it.

And there you have it. 🙂 Have a fantastic weekend!
