Want to Hear Me Talk?!?

I know… Just what you’ve always wanted, right? 😉

Friends, I’m being featured on the Sarah R. Bagley Podcast today!

I found Sarah’s podcast back in the fall and haven’t missed an episode since.  Her tagline is “a recovering perfectionist’s guide to a B+ life” which totally resonates with me!  Every week as she interviews women from all walks of life, I find myself saying “YES! ME TOO!” a hundred times.  I love the message she is sending out about embracing our imperfections and allowing “good enough” to be GOOD ENOUGH.

Last week, Sarah and I got to chat about my own perfectionist story, and our conversation is live today.  It literally felt like I was just having a phone date with a good friend – so fun! We talk about being a working mom, blogging, and – mostly – about the way motherhood (especially the first year or so) changed me.  If you want to pretend like you were on the other line (haha), I hope you’ll check out the podcast!

I’m super nervous about how dorky I sound (isn’t listening to yourself the worst!?), but I’m excited to introduce you guys to one of my favorite bloggers/podcasters and share a little more about myself.

You can read the show notes and listen to the podcast on Sarah’s website here OR subscribe to the show on iTunes.

I hope you’ll give it a listen and leave me a comment here letting me know what you think!

P.S. Sarah and I talk about it a little bit in the episode, but I just wanted to remind everyone that the Mid-Month Confessions link-up on my blog and Notes from the Nelsens will be this coming Monday, February 16th!  Remember, the intent here is to provide a safe and fun place to “confess” some of our less-than-stellar moments over the last thirty days, share a laugh, and remember we aren’t alone in our mess. We’d love for you to join us by writing your own post and linking up back at either of our blogs.  Here are my January confessions (plus a cute little button you can include in your own post next week) if you need some inspiration!
