A Baby Girl “Nursery Nook” Mood Board of Sorts

We’ve decided not to make an official nursery for Baby #2 (I know, she is already feeling the effects of second child syndrome); but, instead, to leave our guest room mostly as it is (still functional for guests and as my closet) and add in a little “nursery nook” with a crib, rocker, and dresser/changing table combo only… I love that the room is already decorated pretty simply – light grey walls, white furniture, white bedding – and my favorite piece is a mint green armoire that’s been in our family for more than 50 years and my dad painted for me when Jeff and I first got married.  The armoire will house most of the baby’s hanging clothes (seriously, I’m trying to be minimalist this time around) and serves as the “inspiration” for the new nook’s gold & mint (with little pops of coral & black) color scheme.

I’m sure this will evolve over the next few months as we actually start making it happen; but, for now, here’s what I have in mind:

What do you think?

Do any of you have experience with a shared guest room/nursery?  I’d love some advice and ideas!
