I’ve been a little slow to jump on the scarf in summer trend* myself, but I love a light-weight scarf as a transition piece for fall (especially infinity-style, because the other ones always seem to look like I’m choking myself). They are the perfect accessory (right up there with statement necklaces) to pair with a simple t-shirt and jeans for a casual weekend or a solid dress and cardigan for work when the temps dip just below warm. Plus, they can easily be taken off if you get too toasty or worn with heavier materials as winter approaches.
I bought this one at Target yesterday and can’t wait for it to cool off just a little here (it’s still in the 90s right now, which makes my neck sweat just thinking about wearing a scarf) so I can wear it!
Here are a few others I’ve got my eye on for fall (especially that leopard one – it’s a staple, right?):
Tribal Scarf Geometric / Halogen Gradient Chevron Scarf in Coral/Blue / Lulu Leopard Print Infinity Scarf
Oversized Zebra Scarf – Yellow / Bird Print Infinity Scarf / Floral Infinity Scarf
And, finally, a quick Pinterest Search of “Scarves for Fall” brings up PLENTY of great inspiration outfits… Like these:
In case you can’t do a Pinterest search yourself 😉
Are you a fan of scarves? How do you style them? Where do you buy them?

*Did anyone else notice that ole Cody was wearing a man-scarf WITH his bathing suit and tank top ON the beach on Monday night’s episode of Bachelor in Paradise?!? Ridiculous. Not that I’m watching that junk or anything. 😉
