I don’t know about you, but I’ve had my kids’ Easter outfits planned for weeks (months?) now, yet I’m clueless when it comes to my own attire. Isn’t that how it always goes?
I wouldn’t always buy a new dress for the occasion, but this year Easter weekend is also my birthday weekend (and Nora’s) so I’m thinking of treating myself…
Here are a few spring dresses I’ve had on my eye on lately that would be perfect for Easter Sunday at church but could also fit the bill for a spring wedding, shower, or even a day at work (more bang for your buck, of course). Which is your favorite?
Women’s Eyelet Dress from Target – This is only sold online, but it is part of their Buy 1, Get 1 50% off sale and anything over $25 ships free, so grab one in black (or mint, orange, white, or navy) for later too!
Eyelet Shirt Dress from Old Navy – Can you tell I’m into eyelet right now? This is a front runner for me because 1. I love a good shirt dress (hello “nursing friendly”), and 2. My kids are both wearing blue for Easter. Plus, I just think it would be so easy to dress up or down. It’s on sale right now plus Old Navy online is offering an extra 17% off for St. Patty’s Day today only.
Printed Drapey T-Shirt Dress from JCrew Factory – I just love the colors and pattern on this one, and the reviews say it hangs really nicely. Also, any time you can wear a t-shirt and call it dressed up is a win in my book. 😉
Aspirational Approach Dress from Modcloth – There’s that eyelet look again! I just can’t get enough! This color might be a tiny bit too light for me this early in the season, but I just love the structured but feminine look of this dress. (A note about Modcloth: They literally have TONS of beautiful dresses, but it can be overwhelming and – frankly – most of them aren’t made for girls with bodies like mine. I always narrow my search to “longer length” dresses on the left and order a size up. FYI.)
Stitch Bib Dress from Mindy Mae’s Market – SO cute, right?
Magali Midi Dress from Anthropologie – This is WAY out of my price range, but I like it too much not to include it!
3/4 Sleeve Flare Dress from Loft – Simple, but it would be fun to accessorize, and I adore the color! I also like that this would work well with tights and boots if it happens to be cold on Easter (you never know). My only worry is that it looks pretty short on the model.
So… Do you have your Easter dress yet? What are you wearing?

Oh my goodness I LOVE that yellow Target dress and the J Crew Factory dress! BTW, J Crew Factory is 50% off today! Think you might have encouraged (or tempted?!) me to do a little online shopping during nap. 😉
