Good morning!! Sorry for another week of lame blogging. Nora was sick pretty much all week (still), so my hands were occupied pretty much every second I was home and awake holding her. It was worth it, but I feel like the week was a total blur. Thankfully, she seems to (finally) be on the mend now, and this weekend is supposed to be beautiful. We might try to take our first family hike with Nora tomorrow, then my brother and sister-in-law always host a “fry party” (so healthy) for Superbowl. What are your weekend plans?
In the meantime… Here are some of my links & likes to peruse with your coffee today. Enjoy!
“The Nightwatch” from Sarah Bessey – How this speaks to my (tired) heart right now! YES. Every word.
“Size Up” by Addie Zierman – Good perspective
“Work, Sleep, Family, Fitness, or Friends: Pick 3” – What do you think about this? I kind-of agree.
Heather’s beautiful coral and gold nursery reveal – now she just needs that baby girl to complete it!!
Kendra – from Catholic All Year – re-did the CDC infographic warning women not to drink if they aren’t on birth control to be a warning against DRIVING – so funny, but also making a strong statement. What are your thoughts?
Serial Episode 1 Updates: Adnan’s Hearing – Have you been keeping up? I am just finishing a unit with my students on the Serial podcast (it’s been so good – I promise to share more soon!), so this has been perfect timing. I’m totally into it.
Just ordered this water bottle in attempt to meet my February goal.
Are you an Everlane shopper? I’ve been hearing GREAT things about their clothes lately.
Love these t-shirts for Gilmore Girls/Friends/The O.C./Full House fans.
Loft is 50% off sale prices right now making one of my favorite blouses for work less than $20.
I made this Lasagna Soup for dinner this week, and it was soooo good.
OK. My kids are losing their minds, so I’m off. Have a great Saturday!
P.S. In honor of Valentine’s Day next week, I’ve got some fun post ideas for next week about marriage, dating, high school relationships, and weddings!! (What do you want to read about?!?)
