Hey friends! I think I’m taking a little (unplanned?) break from the blog in January while I catch up on school work life, finish out the semester, and do some thinking/planning for 2017… I do have lots of ideas and things I plan to share soon, so I hope you’ll hang with me until things settle down and I can get back to this space. 🙂
In the meantime, I thought I’d pop in quickly today to share some of my favorites from around the web…

A Most Magical Night with Dabo Swinney – Of course we are still riding the high of Monday night’s BIG win for Clemson. So proud of my Tigers and Dabo – not just for the way they played, but for the way they have carried themselves and represented our school in the media etc. all season long.
Love this list of “17 Things I Want My Kids to Know and Do Before They Leave the Nest” – especially #1, #9, #10, #11, #13
“5 Things Cool Moms Do” – I was just talking to a colleague who’s daughter is about to graduate, and she “warned” me not to let myself become ONLY a parent during these years… I thought this list was a fun way to check myself. (For the record, according to this list, I’m totally cool.)
Did you see Emily’s “(Mini) Kitchen Makeover” this week? I’m obsessed.
“How I Made Sure All 12 of My Kids Could Pay for College Themselves” – I couldn’t do it, but more power to them.
Of course I loved the Bush sisters letter to the Obama sisters... (Also, Jenna Bush Hager is my favorite. Anyone else?)
“How I Read 313 Books in One Year” – #goals (I read 21 in 2016, and I felt good about it.)
“A Letter I Wrote for Your Sake” – your work is important.

Have you heard of the Freedom app? Basically, it blocks certain parts (or all) of the internet so you can hold yourself accountable and be more productive. I’ve actually been looking for something like this for a while, but I’m not 100% sold on the fact that I have to subscribe and pay for it yet. Has anyone tried it? (Tsh likes it, which totally counts for something.)
These precious kids’ hats from Hanna Andersson are only $6.00 right now. (Thanks Kate for the heads up!)
Ruffles are totally having a moment right now, and I’m all over it. Fancy Ashley introduced me to this ruffled and striped beauty this week, and I’m in love. Also, this – SWOON. Must.not.buy.anything.
I just got Erin Loechner’s new book Chasing Slow, and I can’t put it down. It is BEAUTIFUL – both physically and in content.
Jeff and I have been watching The Crown on Netflix (finally). It is SO good.
I’m making this soup for dinner tonight. YUM.
That’ll do it. Enjoy your Sunday!
