Still on a January break for a few more days, but I’m excited to get back to blogging next week!!! In the meantime, here are some of my favorites from around the web lately…

I love this spouse book swap idea from Cup of Jo – Off the top of my head, I’d choose Overwhelmed, Columbine, and Small Great Things for Jeff to read right now. What about you?
One of my closest college friends and her husband helped start a church in Columbia, SC after we graduated, and this past Sunday they started a sermon series titled “Precious in His Sight: Race, the Story of God, and the Story of America.” I listened to the first sermon via their podcast, and I’m excited to follow along with the rest of it… It’s a tough topic, but one the church CANNOT ignore. *The website also has the full recording of the sermon + a really awesome PDF book they made (98 pages!!) on the history of race and the church.
“Holy Grounds” – a simple, needed reminder.
“15 Liveable Home Trends for 2017” – I love every single one of these.
Speaking of home trends — “You’ll Outgrow IKEA at This Age.” What do you think?! We are getting *very* close, and – ironically – are planning a trip there this weekend. Haha! (I don’t think I’ll ever outgrow the Ribba frame…)

The canvas print on my mantel (shown above) is from Mixbook and the photo was taken by Trent Currin Photography. I want 100 more!
This song by Tallest Man on Earth – It’s probably, like, twenty years old, but I just found it, and I love it.
Speaking of music, I’m honestly not usually that into it, but we’ve been using Amazon Prime Music, and I really love their playlists. It’s kind-of like Spotify only free if you already have Prime.
Am I the only one that didn’t know H&M has a home line? Their prices and designs are great.
How cute is this new “Rainy Day” design from my favorite, Honey Bee Tees? I want one for Nora!
I’ve been oogling over everything in the FashionABLE shop lately – especially this Monogram Dog Tag Necklace and this Leather Crossbody Tote (HANDS FREE!!). Valentine’s Day maybe?!? #inmydreams
I just added this book to my “To Read” list – due out next week. (The summary kind-of reminds me of What Alice Forgot.)
I donut care she already has tons of jammies, Nora *must* have these too. 😉
Anyone thinking about classroom Valentines yet? I love these adorable printables in Alison’s shop (I’m leaning towards the “Awesomesause” one for Sam), and I always like Minted’s collection (we’ve done the robot and the ninja the last two years).
Have a great Saturday!!!

P.S. This time next week we’ll be at Great Wolf Lodge with my parents… Anyone have any travel/trip advice for us?!?!

Please tell me what Amazon music playlists you like? I can’t seem to find any I love!

Ugh… excuse my blatantly incorrect punctuation.

We just went to Great Wolf Lodge! I of course didn’t do any research before hand so I didn’t know that you can get into the water park starting at 1 pm the day you check in. They also don’t have any bed rails (not sure if either of your littles need them still/yet). They have a ton to do besides the water park! I think we will be going back next year to do some of it like bowling, mini golf, 3D theatre etc. The Magiquest game is the thing with the magic wands that kids walk around and do a scavenger hunt. I knew about that but I didn’t know that it is recommended for 7 and older. It is a pretty complex game and def needs parental help for younger kids. They have another scavenger hunt for younger kids. The kids create a stuffed animal (like build a bear) and go around to different portals to “collect items”. We probably would have done that for our 3yo instead of the MagiQuest if we had known. Our 3yo loved waving the wand and seeing the stuff on the wall respond so it was still fun! Also none of the restaurants in the hotel deliver to your room but you can order from outside restaurants/pizza places for delivery. Sorry for the long comment as you probably knew all of that … have a great time!! We will def go back.

If anyone in your group has birthday within a few weeks, they give you a wrist band for free icecream for your whole stay.

So I think the GWL’s are a little different and have some different layouts/fun stuff available, but they should all have a microwave and fridge in the room. We went at the beginning of this month and took breakfast for one day, but I wish I had taken more breakfast items, snack foods and even some lunch stuff. They do have food options there, but other than the pizza, most of it was more than we wanted to pay considering our little kids don’t eat that much. We saw some families that obviously had groceries delivered to them (or picked up right before they came) and we decided next time to make sure we bring more food and snacks. Plus drinks for you and the kids! Starbucks was worth the morning splurge for me though 🙂 Hope y’all have fun!
