*Next week is is Children’s Book Week (and Teacher Appreciation Week, for the record). This adorable poster from the Last Stop on Market Street illustrator is available as a free PDF download or on sale in lots of different sizes/formats here.
Happy Saturday!! In case you missed it on Instagram, we are super happy this weekend because Nora is CAST FREE!!! I promise I still plan to tell more of “the story,” and share some of our experience in the spica cast… eventually/maybe Monday… But, for now, we’re too busy doing things we haven’t been able to do for the last five weeks with our girl (like taking a bath and sitting in a chair). 😉 Actually, in all seriousness, I’m giving a Mock AP exam this morning (on a Saturday!) and then we have Sam’s T-ball “Opening Day” festivities this afternoon. What are your weekend plans?
In case you’re relaxing and want some mindless links, here are a few of my favorite finds from around the web this week:
Links:
“Grammar Rules” on A Cup of Jo – love this cute infographic!
“How to Make and Keep Friends as an Adult”
“Math Problems for English Majors”

If you liked the poster above, you’ll love the free downloadable posters from Andrea Beaty (author of some of our favorite children’s books – Iggy Peck, Rosie Revere, and Ada Twist) on her website. Clearly, I should have been an elementary school teacher.
Is it just me or has this Artificial Fiddle Leaf Fig Tree been on every design blog recently? (I didn’t even know what a fiddle leaf fig tree was two weeks ago…) I’m still not willing to pay $94 for a fake plant; but, if I was… this is the one I’d buy.
Speaking of all the design blogs, have you tried Framebridge yet? They just sent me two Instagram Minis, and I can’t wait to hang them on our newly painted walls.
I’m finishing this book right now, just starting this one, and anticipating this one after that. (One of these days I will finally get a book review post written too.)
I just ordered these fun leopard t-strap sandals from Old Navy to add a little of my favorite “neutral” in to my spring/summer wardrobe… If you have any Super Cash, you can apply it to these through tomorrow only!
I wish I’d had this precious umbrella for ALL the rain we’ve had in the last few weeks.
That’s all for today! Enjoy your Saturday!

I had a Sunday AP Psych review session today, so I feel your practice pain. Their test is tomorrow afternoon. I feel bad my lit class never got their practice exam. Oh well. And checking out your links and likes is always an exciting set of discoveries for me.
I am so happy that you listened to the Today Show ladies! It reminded me sooooo much of you, and today’s busy moms. I hope it was assuring to read or hear that even former first daughter’s have frustrating days as moms. It really made me think about myself oh so many years ago as a young mom of two!!
