Hi again. Sorry for the crickets around here lately. I’m officially “back to work” as of yesterday, so I spent last week attempting to do all 57 items on my To Do list that I avoided for the previous nine weeks (spoiler alert: I failed – miserably). Regardless, I’m hoping that the start of another school year – at least once I get settled in and organized – will bring some more routine and consistency to my life and blog; so… Take that for what it’s worth!
By the time you read this I will (hopefully) be in bulletin board re-no mode; but, in honor of school starting back up, I thought I’d do a quick round-up of some of my favorite posts for teachers today. Hopefully some of you will find some ideas here that you can incorporate into your class this fall. Enjoy!
7. How Do You Teach Grammar? (Check out the comments in this one!)
(I’m revising this a little this year, but this is what I’ve done in the past.)
*Bonus* Check out this list of my favorite blogs for secondary teachers for lots of other GREAT resources!
Do you have a great post for teachers on your own blog? If so, please leave a link in the comments!
ALSO, if you have a topic you’d like me to write about for one of these “Teaching Tuesday” posts, please let me know by leaving a comment or emailing me (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Best wishes for a happy and productive start to the school year!
