Does anyone read blogs on Saturdays? Definitely not Saturday nights, right? Oh well! I’m feeling MUCH better (thank goodness), but still laying low this weekend to make sure I’m 100% for Thanksgiving week (and catching up at work after missing almost five full days!).
So, in case you have nothing else to do (except laundry, grading, and disinfecting) like me, here are some things I’ve been enjoying on the Internet this week:
“7 Habits of Highly Productive Women” that actually seem relatively do-able.
I jumped on the “Serial” train and fell hard. Are you listening?
“What Language Should Kids Use When Referring to Black People?” – I think a lot of people have a hard time knowing what is “politically correct” when it comes to race today. This was a great response.
“Maybe Unmedicated Childbirth Isn’t For Me?” – Kendra talks candidly about her decision to have all SEVEN of her kids with no meds and offers some tips for women hoping to do the same. This was a good perspective for me to read about – especially after I shared this postabout my c-section and my fears for our next delivery.
I’ve almost finished this book for my book club (and the movie release) at the beginning of December. It’s really good!
Have you seen this photo of the woman who drank a gallon of water every day for four weeks? Do you think it’s true? I need to drink more water.
“What Normal Looks Like” – I needed this.
I love that Hayden Panetierre isn’t afraid to show off her 8-month pregnant body even with an extra 40 lbs. (She still looks pretty darn great.)
I love my Simplified Planner from Emily Ley (and have been busy updating it for 2015 with all my “free time” this week), but the $58 price tag is definitely steep. BUT, good news! She’s promising a 40% sale on Black Friday – mark your calendars if you’re in the market!
Ok. Off to eat Mexican with my family. #livingthedream
Hope you’re having a great weekend!
