You’re watching, right?!?!
YOU GUYS, I have the WORST case of the couch potatoes! I’m literally paralyzed by all the amazing deals going on online right now AND the amazing television binge-watching opportunities at my fingertips. The truth is, I’ve been in my pajamas since about 9PM Thursday night. I’ve ordered my Christmas cards and more than half the gifts on my list to buy, but I’ve only watched ONE season of GG so far (and I’m two episodes behind on This Is Us and haven’t even looked at The Crown yet). What am I even doing with my life?!?!
Anyway, I guess you can call this is a special late-Saturday Thanksgiving Weekend edition of Links & Likes – heavy on Likes. 😉 There are SO many blog posts out there right now with great sale round ups etc., so I’m going to try to narrow my list down to the very best of the best + the ones I’ve actually been shopping in the last 48 hours. If I missed something super important, feel free to leave a memo in the comments and help a girl out. Until then, happy shopping/coffee drinking/cuddling/watching! Enjoy your weekend!

Finally, in case you need something to listen to in the holiday travel traffic tomorrow —
I’m loving the new Religion series on Laura Tremaine’s podcast The Smartest Person in the Room. There have only been two episodes so far, but they are great and have already taught me so much!
Also, at Laura’s recommendation on The Sorta Awesome Podcast, I got hooked on Off Camera with Sam Jones this week. The interviews with Kristen Bell (Episode 57) and Dax Shepherd (Episode 36) – especially Dax’s actually – are worth ignoring your family for a few hours to listen.
And,, I’ve mentioned before that I LOVE listening to audiobooks and podcasts with my kids (well, mostly Sam) on car trips. Two of my favorites are StoryNory and Stories Podcast; and, lately, we’ve discovered two more that my kids both adore – Sesame Street Podcast (this one also has video, and Nora is OBSESSED) and Disney Story Central Podcast (way shorter retellings of favorite Disney Pixar movies with fun sound effects and voices) – keep that in your back pocket for when little people start screaming in your backseat. You can thank me later! 😉

Honeybee Tees – my go-to for holiday/occasion t-shirts and play clothes – just released PAJAMAS. I couldn’t resist these bird dog ones in pink and blue (I LOVE matching my kids pajamas, and it’s pretty hard with their age difference) and these nativity ones are great non-traditional Christmas Eve jammies too. Use code GIVETHANKS for 25% off! (Sam has this Christmas long sleeve tee too.)
Anthropologie is offering 30% off everything right now with code LETSGO. I got several little gifts there this morning, including a few of these adorable wrapped soaps to use as teacher/hostess/neighbor gifts for only $6.50 each.
I always order my Christmas cards from Vista Print for seriously a THIRD of the cost of some of the other big names and, this weekend, they are offering 60% off!! There are some cute designs to choose from, or you can design your own on Picmonkey and upload and print from there.
My favorite brand of kids’ toys – Melissa and Doug – is Buy One Get One 50% off at Target right now. I ordered several things for Nora here yesterday!
Last year I stuffed Sam’s stocking with a fun little personalized writing book from MayDesigns that he got lots of use out of. This year, I think he’d love just a plan lined notebook since he seems to have my “list making” genes. These – and all other stationary and notebooks – are 40% right now and make great teacher gifts too! (They also have some great holiday prints downloads for FREE when you sign up for their email list.)
Amen Paper Company (formerly Naptime Diaries) has beautiful canvases, prints, mugs, and totes at 30% off with code CELEBRATE30. (I love this Count the Fruit journal, and this Wake Up O Sleeper mug – cute with succulent in it or a bag of fancy coffee, and they have great gift bundles available too.)
Speaking of prints, I really want to add this one from Jones Design Co. / Maker + Ink to my Christmas decorations. (Buy One Get One this weekend and free shipping when you spend over $30.)
I grabbed this book at Barnes & Noble for only $10 for Sam. I’ve had my eye on it for a while and was SO excited to find it at such a great price! (It’s also sold at Amazon and Anthro for way more $$). *Try adding the code BNBFRIDAY16 to your cart for an additional 30% off too!!
For the rest of your book shopping (the best gift to give, for sure) make sure to use code HOLIDAYBOOK at Amazon and get $10 off your $25 purchase (one time).
This is an awesome not-super-corny holiday sweatshirt.
And, you know this list wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the HUGE sale Emily Ley is running through Monday!!! Daily Simplified Planners are marked down to $48, Weeklys are $36, Grace Not Perfection is only $10, and more! Absolutely everything is marked down at least a little, and shipping is FREE if you spend $100.00. You could knock out A LOT of Christmas shopping here folks – or, of course, treat yourself to a new planner for 2017. (*I LOVE her new pen – seriously, it’s good, and I’m a tough critic when it comes to pens – and I’ve got a Fancy Floral Daily + some adorable stickers on the way to my house as we speak!!!)
And there you have it!

E

I JUST started podcasts with my kids! We’ve listened to several StoryNory and Disney episodes. They LOVE them — especially David.
We’ve tried longer audiobooks with him (we got Roald Dahl’s abridged collection from the library, and we’re listening to Charlotte’s Web right now) and he really likes them but I’m not sure if he really gets it all. The shorter podcasts are PERFECT though!
